(SOLD) A fine and beautiful tall Japanese Meiji cloisonne vase in round form with long tapering body, short, wide neck, flared mouth, with the foot slightly flared out. The body is made of copper with silver rims and base plate.
The design is of a single mature Cherry tree, Sakura, in full bloom at Springtime with delicate delicately detailed leaves shading from green to yellow with white flowers shading to pink. and bright red buds, waiting to open. The tree has multiple trunks and branches. The background is a highly polished wireless gorgeous shade of blue. The rendition and detail of this design is very realistic and the shading of the design is very fine. There are hundreds of full flowers and opening buds on the tree and every leaf and bud is different and shaded from green to yellow to pale red to bright red.
