A fine Silver and Gold wired antique Meiji Cloisonne rounded vase with a short, wide neck, flared mouth, very broad shoulders tapering roundly to a much narrower round foot. The vase is copper with silver rims and green enamel base plate and green internal enamel
The design depicts a stand of bamboo intertwined with the branch of a white flowering tree. The background is a bright blue shading to white at the base. There is a blue and white silver wired bird perched in the tree and another similar gold wired bird fly ing to the tight of the scene. The reverse side has a smaller stand of bamboo accompanied by several short, small white flowers. The back ground is a highly polished black
The vase is 6” tall. Pristine condition and in an excellent state of conservation. Unsigned. Stand not included. Please email us with any questions.
