A highly detailed, fine silver wire Japanese cloisonné vase in round form with a wide body, a short incurving wide neck, round mouth , broad shoulders, and sides tapering roundly down to a straight foot. The design is done in silver wire with gold wire is used on the two birds. Turquoise blue counter enameling is used on the base and the interior.

The design depicts two small wild song birds that are dark brown perched in a white flowering cherry tree set against a highly polished medium blue background. The branches are basically At the base of the tree small sprouts of bamboo grow. There is a small stand of bamboo shoots on the reverse. There is a classic Hayashi Kodenji very fine cicada wing lappet borders on the neck and and just above the flared out foot. The detail on the small birds
