(SOLD) Exquisite sumptuous colors and unique fine silver wire Japanese Meiji Cloisonne vase in quadrilateral (4-sided) form with a twist, that is, the neck is twisted 90 degrees from the body.

The design consists of 4 panels, one on each side. Two of the panels are landscapes with setting or rising suns across the land to water. One of the other panels is of two Manchurian red topped cranes amid a stylized wisteria tree with heavy use of averturine. And the fourth panel has a wild bird flying amidst flowering plants on a green background. The four sides of the neck have the repeating image of stylized blue-colored bird and a multi-colored background with golds and yellows.

The vase is 7” tall. Unsigned. Excellent antique condition with one tiny nick at the side of the first panel.
